Celebrating Achievement: The Blue and Gold Review

On Monday 29 November 2010, UBC’s President Professor Toope hosted the fourth annual Celebrating Achievement: The Blue and Gold Review, held at the Chan Centre for Performing Arts.

The Review highlighted the amazing and inspiring accomplishments made by members of the UBC community, including performances by the University Singers and UBC Opera, a socially responsible fashion show, and a live demo by the volunteers of Let’s Talk Science, to name only a few highlights.

The emcees for the event were Jennifer Gardy (BSc’00, PhD), Researcher, BC Centre for Disease Control, and Adjunct Professor, UBC; and Duncan McCue (LLB’96), member of the President’s Aboriginal Advisory Council, and Reporter, CBC-TV’s The National.
